Supporting aspirations.
Kelly is a high school Senior at MMBay, who came to our Program with aspirations to attend medical school and become a physician. In Summer 2020, MMBay funded Kelly to attend Wake Forest's program called Journey Into the Heart of Medicine, to help her gain exposure to the life of doctors in multiple fields. In Summer 2021, MMBay supported Kelly to attend Johns Hopkins' Summer Institute, to deepen her preparation for a pathway to pre-med. Kelly will be attending Johns Hopkins as an undergraduate in Fall 2022, and has received a full-ride scholarship to support her studies.
